In reply to: Cinematic SWT Theme OptionsI really like the theme though, it’s perfect for the online presence i am trying to achieve. It’s just this silly little problem with the slider that’s doing my head in. Would prefer to stick with this theme if I can help it, but will certainly look at others if I cant get anywhere with it.

Thank you for your reply, however i am unable to start a new topic on the support thread as I require to be registered, when i go to register it has a message saying “User registration is currently not allowed” so i’m stuck really. The theme works well EXCEPT for this problem. Embedding a picture into the blog does nothing either, it still has that damn blank square where the image should be. I cant seem to find any answers to this anywhere online.

In the case of mine it’s probably easier if i give you the link to the original theme; http://www.simplewpthemes.com/2010/01/cinematic/

You’ll see that in the slider it doesnt have the picture, just th text from the blog post. I dont know how to get it to include a picture. There was a theme options setting called SWT Theme theme options which looks specifically after the slider and a couple of sidebar settings but it doesnt have any field for images. When I realised this I figured it must mean the blog needs to have a picture inserted into it however that doesnt show in the slider, only in the post, and that broken square where the picture is is still there.

I’m also having difficulty with a slider. It displays text correctly however for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get the image to display correctly on the slider. Any time I upload the image it doesn’t appear in the slider and where the picture should be displayed it just shows the blog’s title and a massive box that looks like a broken jpeg. It is literally the only thing I need fixed and then my website can be completed. Any thoughts?
