In reply to: Character Encoding IssueI was opening the .sql file so I could switch all instances of my old domain. I’ll have to check with my host to see if we can roll back to 4.
Also, something I just realized I forgot to mention…
I’m creating the backup through the WordPress Database Backup plugin, because when I try the export through phpMyAdmin, it doesn’t export all my posts. I’m left with about a 60% export, everytime. Could this be related to the problem?

Basically all I’m trying to do is have the “Upcoming Events” page as a regular blog. Except all of the posts will be in the future.
I really appreciate all your help so far. If we don’t know which WordPress files to edit, I don’t know if we can come up with a solution, but you never know!

I suppose if that’s my only option though I don’t have a choice…

My custom theme is displaying the newest Post as the content for each individual post. I have simply copied & pasted the code from the Default theme’s single.php, but it will not work for some reason. This has never happened to me before.
Are there any ideas as to what is going on?
