What can I say? The plugin is not for you.
I had to lookup “debauched” in the dictionary, and I fail to see how you got to this conclusion.
Also, the situation is quite simple, the plugin is no fit for you. Please allow me to return all the money that you have paid for it. And kindly remove it from your sites (if you wish so).
Regarding rude and disinterested, I have read the messages that I have sent to you as support answers, I could have pasted them here for the public to judge who is right and who is rude, but I am really not interested in stepping down to your level. So I guess it makes me “disinterested”.
Good luck with finding other solutions for your professional work.
Ok, will fix this in the next version, for the time being we don’t fully support PHP8, sorry for that.
If you wish to help, please contact me via the form on our site and I will send you a patch for testing.
PHP8?

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] jQuery 3.x patchThanks for reporting that, I didn’t do any tests with Edge and its quite likely that this will happen in an untested scenario. I will mark this clearly as a known caveat, will try to fix it once I have access to a setup with edge (mostly on linux here…)

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] jQuery 3.x patchWhich browser are you using?
The main change in the last version was to remove the deprecated jQuery.browser property from the lazy loader.
I have test with Chrome/Firefox and things seemed to work, I no longer care about IE (which is probably the status for everyone).
Can you check if the editing interface loads for you on transposh.org?

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] jQuery 3.x patchHello @senribb
I did a simple test, installed a clean version of wordpress 5.6 (latest available for download) and then installed Transposh 1.0.7.1 on top of it.
It worked, and the edit dialog showed.
My guess is that there is some caching involved. Or maybe some other problem.
I also tested with the latest nightly, and will repeat the test once 5.7 is out.
Thanks for your inputs.

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Bug with url of product permalinkHi,
Do you have url translation enabled? quickest fix would be to get the utils.php file from the previous version.
Feel free to contact me via the support form on our site and I will see if there’s anything else that can be done.
@fabioperri It really should land any day now, I am limited by my time to devote to this and a breakage I had in the deployment environment.
If you (or anyone else) is willing to give a hand testing a pre-release, this will greatly help, just contact me on transposh.org

In reply to: [NSFW] [Transposh WordPress Translation] Manual translation problemsHi,
I can’t see the edit interface on your site, however – I assume you are hit with the areatext self closing issue, there is a hack on fixing this in a previous post in this forum, and the next version should fix this.
The plugin is not EOL, still supported. A new release will fix the problems that occurred due to changes in wordpress/PHP/jQuery and stuff.
Had a lot on my plate the last year, still a lot of work ahead. But I believe that I will be able to devote the needed time to get the fixes to the critical issues soon.

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Missing edit field and buttonsHi,
A solution for this would be to fully enclose the textarea tag and not let it self enclose. which I really don’t understand.
Hi,
When you get a 500 error it means there was some sort of error in the php platform that is behind wordpress. The way to actually figure out what it is is to look in your php error log file.
When you are able to provide us with the errors from that log we’ll be able to help you figure out what is wrong and how to fix.
Hi,
Normally, when you place the widget you will find an edit translation interface next to it. I suggest you take a look at our site. We also uploaded a youtube video on how to do it and resources are abound.
Let me know how you fare.
Hi,
The translation editor shows only strings that were translated by humans, to translate your site, use the frontend translation interface.
