I will sum it up. you are probably wrong, as the user action (adding the widget) is the one that adds the link to the developer site, which is rather a consent.
Nobody is forcing you into using this plugin.

I am not sure that this is related, but you can always try the suggested solution and see if this fixes your problem.
It fixes an infinite redirection loop when used in conjunction with Transposh.

I am not sure I follow still but I will explain.
With the .po/.mo integration feature Transposh will attempt to use such files if they exists. Transposh unfortunately don’t download those files but just uses them if they are properly located.

Regarding me being snarky, or cynic, or just a plain people hater. That’s me, and apparently I am not going to change. At least I don’t judge people without knowing them at all.
To the point of you not using the product because of my personality, I will only say this is rather stupid. Do you personally know a Mr Gates, or even closer, Mr Mullenwag (which is actually a great person, but does it matter?).
Have you read about a certain Mr. Jobs (late) that used to park in handicapped parking spaces?Yes, I am aware that support is part of the product, but luckily it is rather a small part, try and contact Google at any point and let me know how you fare, it doesn’t keep you from using this right?

Just make a link to the same page as one would normally do (I really don’t recall how you get your current page url in wordpress, but that’s not very hard)

I see that google have recently started misbehaving on some cases 🙂
Next version will include some measures if you find yourself in such a situation, they are now being tested, so we’ll see if they have any effect first, if one is willing to try, contact me directly and I’ll add you to the test.

You can get to the metas by using next and prev buttons in the translation boxes,
They would not be translated by the “translate on post” feature, but a visit to the page is the way to go.
