You can always force this by using relevant shortcodes, but other plugins might better fit your scenario.

This information is mostly correct, but I will add a few points:
1. the table does not always start with a wp_, it uses the tables prefix that was set by the installation, so it might be a bit different

Congrats on selling your site, when you disable the plugin nothing remains…
you may also try bogus letters (not languages) and you might get pages, this is probably the internal wordpress search feature kicking in, you may probably want to disallow access to the language urls in your robots file or something similar.

Yes, the checkbox just changes the url, t_jp should always be defined…
Maybe you have some sort of javascript speed optimizer/enhancer or something?
