In reply to: [Better WordPress Minify] site stops working after activating bwp-minifyCan you try what is suggested in the first Q&A here: http://betterwp.net/wordpress-plugins/bwp-minify/faq/ ?
Hello, thanks for using BWP recaptcha. Could you please confirm that you have read the FAQ section: http://betterwp.net/wordpress-plugins/bwp-recaptcha/faq/ ?
You can change the cache directory to a directory under the
wp-contentdirectory, for e.g./path/to/wp-content/cache/sitemaps/, it might work.Hello, thanks for using BWP Google XML Sitemaps.
Are you enabling sitemap cache? What you’re seeing might be cached versions of the news sitemap.
Genres are totally optional, btw.
Hmm the URL looks unfamiliar to me. Can you post WordFence’s log somewhere so I can see?
Hmm, can you contact me via http://betterwp.net/contact/ ? I need some more info.

In reply to: [Better WordPress Minify] Plugin slows down my siteOK thank you @cefiar, if you find out anything else please let me know.
If you view the sitemap’s source code you will notice that there are blank lines above the xml declaration. If you have tried disabling all plugins, try switching to the default theme and check the sitemap again.

In reply to: [Better WordPress Minify] Plugin slows down my site@cefiar Opcode cache is not used by default by the Minify library, so I don’t think it’s the reason here. I do have tests that are run in a PHP 5.4 environment, and I don’t see any noticeable slowdown. Have you tried “ignoring” files one by one and see which one is the culprit? Also, is it slow (30+ secs first time) for both CSS and JS files?
Since 1.4.0 the XSLT stylesheet is disabled by default because it is known to cause issues on certain setups, which is often mistaken for a broken sitemap. IMO, an XML does not need to look pretty anyway.
To enable the stylesheet just navigate to BWP Sitemaps >> XML Sitemaps >> Look and Feel and choose to “Make sitemap look pretty”.
This is already on my to-do list: https://github.com/OddOneOut/bwp-google-xml-sitemaps/issues/30
The question is whether you really need this feature for the Google news sitemap, because Google seems to consider articles published within a 48-hour period only. Are your articles updated within the day they are published?
OK one last thing to try is to set Request method to cURL. If that doesn’t work, please contact me via http://betterwp.net/contact/ . Thanks.
