In reply to: [Wired Impact Volunteer Management] Sort Volunteers by Location or DateJonathan –
Thank you for the reply. I did figure out that opportuntities sort by event date. My goal/need/desire/want is create individual event pages that display the various one-time opportunities for that single event. In essence a unqiue post loop that is filtered on either the event date or location.I would create a landing page for volunteer event needs like this one we have to get event registrations built using the EVENTER plugin:
https://imhookedinc.org/upcoming-events-im-hooked-inc/And then each event listing would take a user to an event page hgilighting the unique one-time volunteer needs for that event. Organiozationally it would look something like this:
It would look something like this:
–4/28/2018 – Im Hooked – Youth Fishing Day in Federal Way Washington

— — Volunteer Event Registrar
— — Volunteer Fishing Mentors
— — Volunteer Water Safety Crew Member (Life Jacket Fitter)

In reply to: How to put up a “persistently playing” music player jukeboxOur web manager suggested that to me that you take a look at the web site Jamendo.com – which distribute free albums and tracks for new music artist? Your artist can upload to their site and then the site creates a widget that can then be copy and pasted into a web site. For example – widget code for one album (folk rock band CeiliMoss came out as:
<div align=”center”><object width=”200″ height=”300″ classid=”clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000″ codebase=”http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0″ align=”middle”> <param name=”allowScriptAccess” value=”always” /><param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /> <param name=”movie” value=”http://widgets.jamendo.com/en/album/?album_id=21299&playertype=2008″ /> <param name=”quality” value=”high” /> <param name=”bgcolor” value=”#FFFFFF” /> <embed src=”http://widgets.jamendo.com/en/album/?album_id=21299&playertype=2008″ base=”http://widgets.jamendo.com/en/album/” quality=”high” wmode=”transparent” bgcolor=”#FFFFFF” width=”200″ height=”300″ align=”middle” allowScriptAccess=”always” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer”> </embed> </object></div>
Andrew’s other suggestion was to open a flash player in a new window that would then feed the music.
I hope this helps.
