In reply to: Browser problems with websiteHi ThemesGrove. Wow, I think I know what the problem was. It’s something so basic: To get the green band to show properly, I just had to expand the browser window in Chrome. Thanks for your help! — Barbara

In reply to: My site isn't visibleHi webdesignerchristian. Weird. Some people see a website and some see a gray screen with a bunch of “Related Links.” I deleted two name.com DNS entries that might have been conflicting with two Hostgator DNS entries. I’m hoping this resolves the problem.

In reply to: My site isn't visibleI ended up deleting the two name.com DNS entries and retaining the host server’s DNS entries. If you have time over the next couple of days, could you check to see if clicking on http://nycghostwriter.com/ actually takes you to the correct web site? Thank you to everybody who responded. I appreciate it. (I’ll check “Mark this topic as resolved” in a couple of days.)

In reply to: My site isn't visibleEsmi, I didn’t move a domain name to a new host, and didn’t change a DNS record. But I’m thinking I should delete the name.com DNS entries. I’m going to check with name.com to see if I should do that.

In reply to: My site isn't visibleThank you to everyone who responded to my question. I’m going to see if my problem is a DNS issue. It seems I have two conflicting Whois entries: One for Hostgator, one for name.com. I think the name.com DNS entries need to be removed. I will double-check with name.com.
