    Ok support told me that he MySQL server is unstable. So sometimes, these problem can be caused by unstable server.

    Hi all,

    I have the same problem. For the past few days the site is very very slow.
    And from time to time, I got this error:

    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at xxx.xxx.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    My host proposed me to change my database to another server. Do you think, it can help ?

    Hi govpatel,

    I guess I got a curse from the ghost 🙂 I have no idea..maybe, someone hacked me or something.
    I contacted my host and they restored a previous backup now the site work more or less fine. I have PhpMyAdmin error now 🙂

    On PhpMyAdmin log in page it will display:
    “2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server

    Error Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed”

    I think there some issues with their database server.
