I haven’t had any other complaints about the theme causing crashes. What version of WordPress are you running? And have you tried deactivating all your plugins first?
Also, when you say you tried to modify some of the code, what exactly did you try to modify?

It’s definitely a great solution for a small site. I hope someone will benefit from your detailed explanation. Unfortunately, the site I am working on has 1200 posts (site move was years overdue).
If the permalink structure I originally mentioned won’t affect WordPress in any way, I’ll probably leave it like that. I just want to be sure nothing will “explode” one day. 🙂

As for the sidebar, it has indeed been removed with responsive design. This way, what little real estate is available on mobile devices can be given to the actual post, which makes for a better reading experience.

I’ve submitted a revised version of the theme and added the comments template in the pages.php.

I’ve submitted an update for the theme for review which now includes the social media links via the Theme Options panel. Make sure your styles are in a child theme, otherwise if you updated the theme they will be overridden.

Thanks for the quick response!
It’s still not working for me though. Now I’m suddenly getting a high number of “likes”, but once again the same number on all the posts.
I’m at a complete loss. I’m open to any other suggestions if anyone has any, other than using a plugins.
