I was wondering the same thing and found this thread with danieliser’s answer : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-easy-modal-two-issuesneed-help
And I agree, excellent plugin.
You might wanna check out http://wizardinternetsolutions.com/plugins/easy-modal/ for a new version that was recently released with a Visual Theme Editor.
I am building out a site that uses Gravity Forms within your modal window, upon submission of the form, the user is redirected to the action url for the form. :/

I believe this is due to the fact that the form is being routed through your plugin, effectively breaking the linking hierarchy. Is there a fix for this?
The issue is that their js doesnt get called properly and that when the form is loaded in the background it is via the admin ajax url which causes the forms action to point there. I will try to come up with a fix that resolves this asap..
