Nevermind, I discovered the Events Manager Calendar support iCal AND RSS. I need the RSS, for MailChimp. Marking this solved.
Different theme, sd + ngg installed: same issue.

OK Angelo, that looks promising, thanks. I’ll look into it. But: when a user books a seat, will we be able to use this organizer as the contact for reservations, or does the system email the author the booking request?
Ouch, that may mean a lot more users, and overhead for the (Super)Admin on our multisite. Although I understand the concept of integration w/ WP I’d rather have a separate field for an event organizer. I’ve seen similar functionality in other plugins. Is there some straightforward way (for us) to implement this?
