I have the same problem, google webmastertools sees the sitemap xml file but says the file is in HTML format.
I used the google xml sitemap plugin which generated an xml sitemap which webmastertools accepted.
I also get errors with the robots.txt, webmastertools says it’s an incorrect format, also looks like an HTML page and is related to Yoast functionality.
Might this be due to changes in google or changes in yoast’s plugin?

In reply to: Pages still visible to audience after setting it back to "Draft"?@otto, I’ve been experiencing similar issues so there’s definitely weridness going on with the latest versions of wordpress re: drafts.
One of the sites seems to be tied to caching issues, but others I’m not so sure if it’s caching at all.
I’ve got one client site where even after clearing cache plugins & browser cache, certain custom post types show drafts as published even though they’re checked as draft.

I’m still trying to figure out how to use this custom field permalink in combination with regular permalinks for posts with that custom field

In reply to: Can’t Upgrade Plugins via DashboardI have had similar problems not with specific plugins btu with specific sites hosted with certain hosting providers, like this one client of mine who hosts with Hetzner. Seems the directory structure or something must be confusing the auto updater. I can’t update any plugin whatsoever.

In reply to: Register Plus Settings Corrupted – No uninstall availableThanks for the insights guys, though I don’t have any reference to s:0:”” in my DB anywhere, the plugin must be registered under a different ID or something? Not that good with DB stuff to be honest, deleting plugin folder doesn’t remove the plugins settings from the DB nor does de-activating. Some other plugin developers have integrated an uninstall which removes all options, think maybe Register Plus could do with something like that.
I’ll keep hunting for a solution, might try that wp_options thing
