Apologies, managed to solve the issue.

I’m not 100% sure what I did to solve it. Installed the ‘Advanced Query Loop’ plugin, started to edit the search page, looked at the block stack (Document Overview), and noticed a ‘No Results’ block under the query loop block (I’m sure it wasn’t there before). All without adding a new Query Loop to the page.

Also managed to solve another issue I had with the Query Loop. Only displaying one result at a time and paginating the rest. Who knew inherit from template doesn’t inherit anything from the template, it inherits from wordpress core (Dashboard->Setting->Reading->Blog pages show at most).

Query Loop really isn’t that intuitive and I found nothing in the documentation regarding Query Loop and Reading settings.
