In reply to: spam slips through bad behavior & spamkarma2well, the poker part is showing up in the user’s name instead of the url or email or post…and this is how they’re getting through, I think.

In reply to: registered user commentsApparently, when I am logging out…
wp_clearcookie()
This function will delete the cookie from the client browser. This happens when the user clicks on the Logout link in the Administration interface.Doesn’t work.

In reply to: registered user commentsApparently this was occurring because as I was logged into the admin, it wasn’t presenting me with those slots to fill in, which meant a blank value was being sent for the URL though the correct email address has been used. I’m now setting the $user_url in php if the user is logged on but am having an issue with the cookie retaining this information.

In reply to: owner comments problemQuestion: Is there a way to clear the author info after hitting submit? Apparently, this is left in a cookie somewhere and as I share a computer I would prefer folks not posting as me. 🙂

In reply to: Problems with get_currentuserinfo(), $user_email and $user_urlI don’t suppose you could send me a copy of your comment.php that utilizes this? I am having a terrible time trying to get comments to work right; when the person is logged in, the email and url don’t get attached. I would prefer that they either attach or don’t show an invalid link of “http:///”.

Yeah, it was broken most of yesterday after CNN and other media sites started writing about it.
Currently, they aren’t using WP though because there were so many hits yesterday that the owner couldn’t even get into the admin panel. They’ve set it up as a basic gallery now.
It’s a good cause. I know they were talking about setting up a donation fund or something for the families of those killed or injured.
I think it’s a great passive way of speaking out against the terrorist.
Here is CNN’s article.

In reply to: save favorite “article” plugin?Hmmm… yes, something were people could register and then “save” articles/recipes so that they could have access no matter what computer they sign on to the sight on…so, yes, something more like what Cypher is thinking.
*sigh* they also want nutritional info…that’s going to be a lot of tedious work for me. Dang health-minded people. 😉
