  • Hi @jfproulx,
This worked for me (thanks to theme author):

If you use a child theme, then switch to the parent theme to check if that solves it. If so, it is one of the files that you have added to your child theme. Copy the new file from the new OceanWP (parent) and add your changes in it.

Activate your child theme, go to Theme Panel > Import/Export, click the export button, activate the parent theme, go back to the Import/Export page and import the json file.

@oceanwp Yes! that works. Although the desktop menu need some styling again (is too wide now), but that’s not much work to fix again.

Thanks for replying so fast btw.

And sorry for posting twice (I saw after posting here, that this topic was already marked as ‘solved’ and I assumed that that meant that it would not be checked/answered anymore.

I have the same problem (since today, I think it occurred after the previous update):

    1. mobile icon does not disappear in desktop view.
    2. I’ve the latest version of WordPress
    3. I’ve saved changes in Scripts & Styles
    4. Then cleared my cache

And NOTHING changed; the icon is still visible under the desktop menu in the header.

    FYI:
    Browser: Chrome (latest version)
    Theme: OceanWP (latest version)
