Hi @ricav
Thank you for your reply. I’d also like to clarify a few points based on your testing and findings:
“Changelog 3.33.6 β 2025-12-18: Fix: Issues with rendering in Text Editor widget”
Couldn’t you just *for once* say: we’re sorry, we borked this up, we’ll do better in the future?
You know as well as I do that there were major issues with your recent “security” fixes, and those were not limited to popups. Why not admit to it? We’re all human. This Apple-attitude of “you’re probably just holding it wrong, it’s not us” is not helping or advancing confidence.
Glad you fixed it, at last, though.
thanks,
nils
Since this is concerning all installations that use short codes, it might be a good thing if you actually post a solution for everyone — and maybe explain how you will increase testing before releasing before borking your users sites. Again.
yes, another borked update. Guys, you should really work on quality control. This is the second time in a month. π
I reverted to older version for now and hope you fix whatever you did recently.
Latest news: your plugin also borked some WPForms installations with multi-step forms. They were all doing fine, but threw errors starting last week.
They are doing fine again since I deactivated your plugin.
This took too much time by now, so I won’t investigate any further, but you might wanna doublecheck whatever change was implemented last week, be it on your site or somewhere in the wordpress environment. There’s something very wrong…
Thanks, I’ll do some further checks beforehand, to make sure I’m not wasting your time π
The reCAPTCHA was in there for ages, and it didn’t make any difference before. The Ultimate Member reCAPTCHA Plugin was responsible for that. I switched it off, the error is gone now, the source map is still AWOL though.
Hey Marc,
the browser console shows the following errors:
reCAPTCHA couldn’t find user-provided function: onloadCallback recaptcha__de.js:191:284
Source map error: request failed with status 404 Resource URL: /wp-content/plugins/captcha-for-contact-form-7/core/assets/f12-cf7-captcha-cf7.js Source Map URL: f12-cf7-captcha-cf7.js.map
Does this ring any bells?
I’ll try deactivating plugins and rechecking the implementation…
Regarding: access: how could I do this safely?
Edit: I deactivated all other plugins and used a default theme, the problem remained… As I said: it worked just fine until a few days ago. Strange.
I had/have the same problem. It’s still broken.
They promised a solution to me, and nothing happened. This is totally unacceptable. This was never an “experimental” feature before, nor should it ever. As soon as the user changes anything in an element, it shouldn’t be auto-removed at all, and assigning a class to an element is a strong indicator that the editor cared at least a bit, as he put it in there!
Making an honest mistake is fine. But the least you can do is fix the bl**dy issue as soon as possible!
Using v2, @yuriinalivaiko
cheers!
Well, ok. Maybe you can incorporate my crude-on-purpose (for maximum readability) proposal:
/um-recaptcha/includes/core/class-enqueue.php add in line 43:
if($language_code == 'auto'){
$lang = get_locale();
$lang = explode('_', $lang);
$language_code = $lang[0];
}in /um-recaptcha/includes/admin/class-init.php add line 257:
'auto' => __( 'Auto', 'um-recaptcha' ),Thanks in advance!
WTF guys! – Please turn it off! This must be opt-in only!
Thanks, Noor!
Keep up the awesome work!

In reply to: [Payment Button for PayPal] Does this plugin use the new Paypal checkout?Ok., stupid me, I failed to read the updated plugin description.
(How long has that been in there?? Damn…)
Thanks for bearing with me.
nevermind, it now reports being finished. strange…
Well, too late for that now, I did uninstall Duplicator on all sites.
Seriously guys, this could lead to serious legal trouble in the EU! – Newsletters have to be (double) opt-in!
I suggest you revisit that option…
