For our case we do not need free trial. We are building subscriptions to send product on a monthly base to customer. But when a customer order a subscription today, they currently the subscription will start from today. And that is actually the problem. We take all the money up-front via sign-up fee and NO recuring costs.

There is also a top votes user voice topic about this. I guess a lot of people need this.

Example:
Requirement 1:
A customer wants to buy a subscription as a gift for someone. Now he should be able to select the startdate from the subscription. So its a delayed start of the subscription but it is already paid.

Requirement 2:
There sould be some option to config the date field. Means, a option for possible startdate, recuring days, one day per month e.g. in the middle of the month, etc.

Why we need this? Becasue when we have 200 subscription with different dates, its for admin not easy to manage. If there is always one possible startdate per month it would be easier. I guess, this would be a huge benefit for a lot of customers regards the votes on the WooCommerce subscription offical user voices.

Yes, but this has no impact for the start date or do I miss something here?

But this does only provide a date selector. We want to have that customer can choose from admin defined start dates in order that we do not have 100x different start dates.

it would be on the the front end. So a user can order a subscription but the start from the subscription needs to be delayed for some reason. A reason can be, he order this subscription as a gift and want that it starts after the birthday etc.

Yes I know. But we basically want to show other products from the vendor and not in a tab. So can we just copy the code there and reuse it?
