Thank you @catacaustic! I ended up going into Bluehost and being able to change it back over there before I saw this response. I did check out the info through the links you shared and it helped a lot with understanding what happened.

I’m still not able to use my preferred URL for the current site. I keep getting error codes. I am going to do some further research.
