In reply to: [Product Tabs for WooCommerce] Last update removes everythingThanks, that is similar to what we found.
However, in our experience even though the tab data was still saved in the database, after updating to the latest version plugin the product tabs did not actually display on the product page (even after purging the site cache and loading the page in a “fresh” browser).
A quick fix was to “Edit” the product and click “Update”. After doing that the product tabs appeared on the page as intended, but with hundreds of products that method would have been too time consuming. The bulk import/export allowed us to get them all republished at once. I’m not sure if this situation would apply to any other plugin users but that is what we found.

In reply to: [Product Tabs for WooCommerce] Last update removes everythingThanks. Updating the plugin fixed the save glitch, but did not automatically restore tabs to existing products as they were before. There are probably a lot of users whose custom tab data is still saved in the database but not displaying on the site.
I restored them by exporting all products and reimporting them with the meta field for overriding the default custom tab specified as “yes” where appropriate.

In reply to: [Product Tabs for WooCommerce] Last update removes everythingSame. The result is rather catastrophic for our ecommerce site. We already have received loads of support questions asking for information that should be already available online.
I ended up paying for the “pro” version of the plugin last week hoping it would resolve the issue, but no luck. There also hasn’t been any reply from their support to my inquiry on January 11th.
I’ll give it a few more days before looking elsewhere and leaving another 1 star review so people can avoid the hassle.
Turns out this was not due to the SG Optimizer plugin.
Thanks, that was it 🙂
Hi Rui,
Is there any way to have a sticky header that doesn’t cover the content at the top of each page?
Right now a significant portion of the top of each page (equivalent to the header height) is being covered over by the sticky header, so there is no way to ever see that content – page titles, breadcrumbs, tops of images, etc..
I’m fairly certain this is a “new” development. I know this wasn’t the case 6 months ago.
Hi Rui,
To see this problem in action, check out collaboration.org
Header option is set to ‘sticky’.
Pretty sure this is a relatively new development.
Thanks
