I’ve run a number of wordpress sites and I’ve never encountered the title/tagline problem I’m encountering with this theme. I’ve always been able to have unique page titles on all my wordpress pages.

Below are two links to how titles should be able to appear on WordPress;

like I said, on my moesia theme, the site title and tagline are appearing on every page. So even on an interior page, or individual post, it reads;

“About | John Doe Professional magician, card trickster and banker.”
” Services John Doe Professional magician, card trickster and banker.”
” The perfect Card Trick in 10 easy steps | John Doe Professional magician, card trickster and banker.”

I’m sorry if I’m not explaining myself clearly. But hopefully you can see the issue I’m having with the example screenshots.

So when I go into customize and add the site title and site tagline, this appears on the top of the browser of every page in the site.

Site title: John Doe
Tagline: Professional magician, card trickster and banker.

When I goto the about page it reads as the title, in the top of the browser
About | John Doe Professional magician, card trickster and banker.

I don’t want all the site title and tagline appearing as the page title on all the secondary pages. Ideally, I’d like to make each page title something unique like “About the best magician in NYC” or for the services page “Freelance magician serving the NY area”

“The cause is something in my WP” is not helpful to me.
Thats like my bringing my car to the mechanic because I notice bad gas milage, and he says “The problem is in your engine”.

I’ve trouble shooted a few recommendations found here in support, and have been unable to track down the problem…

I could try and reinstall and rebuild my entire site from scratch, but this is not a guarantee the F&S form will work – so it makes more sense for me to integrate something else.

this is a push page because I don’t like to post real urls in support forums, and then have the site name keywords picked up by search engines.

I am using the full URLs and if you click either of the forms, you will see whats happening.
