In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Lost My Menu BarHas this ever happened to anyone?
You have to log into Google Analytics, same as always.
Out of curiosity, once you do, can you post whether or not you are able to track pages by author? That’s not working for me. wondering if that’s really an “out of the box” solution or something you need to do more work on.
Cool yeah, that’s what I’ve done. Sitemap seems fine now.
So… let’s just start with Author. My quick question – this is supposed to work out of the box? How does it work?
It’s definitely not working on my site, I suspect it has to do with the way my templates are coded, but I could be wrong.
I reckon I’m going to give up on this. seems like a really common problem.
Any reason i shouldnt’ just disable this part of yoast and keep using my other sitemap plugin?

In reply to: [WP Super Popup] [Plugin: WP Super Popup] Causes WP Admin Bar to Deactivateanyone else notice this?
Well, these two. But I’ve disabled them both, and still no luck with Yoast.
WP Sitemap:

Google XML Sitemaps
http://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/wordpress-plugins/google-xml-sitemaps-generator/But, both are currently disabled, I’ve cleared cache, saved settings on Yoast, and still 404 here: http://www.triplepundit.com/sitemap_index.xml
Any ideas?
If I add this… where does it actually turn up in Google Analytics? Is there some kind of speed tab I wasn’t aware of?
Hmm does this affect “Google Analytics for WordPress” ? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
I’m just getting started with these, but it seems like a very similar plugin, no?

In reply to: Separating Images in RSS FEedThanks… finally figured it out. It’s a different *kind* of RSS, called “Media Rss” …. this WebMonkey article cracked it for me:

In reply to: Separating Images in RSS FEedAnyone out there with a successful RSS feed that does this? Or even thinks I’m making sense?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Separating Images in RSS FEedIn actuality, I think this is a simple question.
I have a default RSS2 wordpress template.
All I want to do is add the <media:thumbanil … or whatever it’s supposed to be, and throw the URL of the image in there.
No matter what I do it seems to cause the RSS feed to break. Surely there’s some simple template adjustment for this?

In reply to: Custom RSS Feeds questionHoly cow. I just discovered the Feed Wrangler Plugin. Halleluja. … problem solved.

In reply to: Custom RSS Feeds questionAnyone with some PHP skills know how to decifer that? It can’t be that complicated….
Simply … “skip the default Atom feed” and “use this” ….
Looks to me like there’s a lot more going on in that example!

In reply to: Daily RSS by Email (Alternative to Feedburner)Well I’ll be darned! Looks like MailChimp now does it. Actually 100 times better than feedburner. Another reason/way to dump Google. Goodbye feedburner!
