  • Same here too
    i couldnt get my reCaptcha to work so i removed that part to use without it for now and then discovered i have same issue as you guys so now im thinking thats something to do with why reCaptcha didnt work ?

    Would very much appreciate getting this fixed as having o form of contact is not ideal

    can author please confirm which version of PHP is required in case it has something to do with that ?

    A good working Captcha ( this is a major issue right now rendering the plugin unusable unless you remove reCaptacha but then you get the spam )

    also implementation of mail send so user has options to use best solution to send rather than only wp send mail.

    maybe rather than the basic log showing mails how about a full inbox/outbox area so some could deal directly with mail straight from admin and allowing control to a site editor

    lastly a template designer so user can do there own html mail design.

    i think i just kept you busy for a while lol

    i notice most requests for support regarding reCaptcha seem to go unanswered from author of plugin? including my own
    anyone know why that would be ?

    i just browsed through these support sections and last time the author was here was 4 weeks ago ?
    how can someone consider buying a pro plugin if they cant even get a reasonably timescale with support before parting with there money

    i have never been able to understand this

    i never even knew the “is-rtl() was available so yes that looks like it could provide a good solution
    looks like you now have yourself a little more to add on future update

    i have tried to paste a complete modified file code here for ease of use to RTL user but it wont let me and there is no option here to upload a modified file

    ive looked deeper and problem is with there themes not timeline express but there is an easy workaround for those wanting to keep there themes as above

    Evan its probably worth changing code in a spare file you have and passing to users with instruction on how to overwrite

    the file to change is

    timeline-express/css/timeline-express.min.css

    obviously if these uses update there plugin at anytime they would also need to overwrite file again

    may not be perfect solution but its a good one for those that need RTL

    i just rechecked my own solution of the RTL problem
    it seams the code is orginally set to “right” meaning there is no issue with the plugin code so it has to be problem with some themes that have had RTL applied
    however if those users are wanting to keep there themes and the them dev is not solving it then i would suggest Evan keeps a copy of this file and send it to users who have the problem with instructions on how to overwrite the timeline express file

    the file needed to be overwritten is the one called

    timeline-express/css/timline-express/timeline-express.min.css

    this is the code which i have modified to work for these problem RTL sites
    Evan this might be useful to compile into a file and pass to these people as a useful workaround

    i just looked a the URL given by Marikm

    try this both with problem
    look for this in your express timeline css file

    .cd-timeline-block:nth-child(even) .cd-timeline-content {
    float: right;
    }

    change it to

    .cd-timeline-block:nth-child(even) .cd-timeline-content {
    float: left;
    }

    its seams when applying RTL the word “left” is being changed to “right” so you need to put it back

    i would also guess overwriting the css file with original timeline css file would be another way to fix it

    Shame i cant fix my own problem with this plugin so easy

    Author ignores support here maybe ?
    i see other person has been answered who posted after myself
    even a simple ” i havent got a clue whats wrong” would be better then nothing, at least that way i could move on and find a different plugin that works better for me

    oh well never mind

    In reply to: Driving me mad!

    im not getting this “adding a button ” you speak of but i do see two home buttons

    the theme your using obviously uses a preconfigured homepage that you can customise but you have also created a homepage yourself

    if you intend to keep the theme homepage just unassign the homepage you made by going to admin / appearance / menus then delete the “home” you see in the menu tree , this will then leave you with the preconfigured hompage

    i am assuming this is the problem your trying to explain

    the plugin has clearly conflicted

    are showing logged in of public side ?? do you have the bar at top of screen?

    seems like your going to have to disable that plugin through phpmyadmin panel

    this page give a walkthrough on how to do this

    Perfect job KAPLugins
    just how help should be on here so thank you very much

    KAPlugins
    perfect now
    thank you very very much
    do tell though

    i guess this was due to the changes they made to editor in the latest 3.9.1 WP as i know they changed alot in the default text editor for this version and guess it threw out the comparability with your plugin so needed tweeking a little to suit ?

    good to see its sorted 🙂

    either way it dont really sound like an issue you can easily solve yourself kyte, i think its one for the host to resolve for you. get yourself a support ticket in and keep fingers crossed 🙂
