Thank you for your response. Please see my reply to each of your questions below:

1. I ran a new test in English and Spanish, and just as you experienced, I’m now getting the confirmation and welcome emails in English.
2. For this test, it was done using two email addresses that did not have existing WordPress.com accounts, but the original accounts I mentioned in this ticket that were getting the Spanish emails DID have existing accounts.
3. I checked the WPML settings, and automatic language detection is not enabled. “Disable browser language redirect” is selected.

I ran another test with an existing WordPress.com account that had their language set to Spanish in the WordPress.com settings. After subscribing to the blog via the Spanish translated Blog page, I received the Spanish confirmation email. When the account was confirmed, it gave me the English welcome email.

I also published a test page to see how it would work (you may have received these too if your subscription was still active). All of the subscribed users received the English translated blog post, but the text outside that article was in Spanish. I also published the Spanish translation shortly after, and again all subscribers received it, regardless of whether they subscribed from the English or Spanish version of the blog page, and all text within the email was in Spanish.

Clearly, I’m either missing something in the way these are set up, or maybe there are compatibility issues between Jetpack and WPML. Ideally, I’d like for users who subscribe to the blog from their select language to only receive blog posts in that language.
