    Hi again!

We’ve been testing the JSON import/export functionality in Product Option Kit v1.2.0 and have successfully created a new option set through import. Thank you for including this capability!

We also tested whether the importer could update an existing option set. We exported the JSON structure, included the ID of an existing inactive test set, and modified a field label.

The import succeeded, but instead of updating the existing option set, it created a new one with a different ID.

    We have a few questions:

    1. Is there currently a supported way to update existing option sets programmatically, either through JSON import, a REST API, or another method?
    2. If not, is this functionality something you would consider adding in a future release?
    3. If an existing option set must be replaced, is there a recommended method for preserving its product assignments?
    4. Does the plugin provide any supported way to create or update product assignments programmatically?

Our goal is to manage a reusable library of option sets and keep those configurations synchronized with an external product management system. We want to avoid manually rebuilding option sets or creating duplicates whenever a configuration changes.

    Thanks again for your assistance!

We’re testing Product Option Kit v1.2.0 and have a question about the display order of multiple option sets assigned to the same WooCommerce product.

Our setup uses reusable configuration templates (for example, a general Personalized Text option set) alongside product-specific option sets (for example, additional rhinestone customization fields).

We’d like the reusable configuration template’s fields to appear before the product-specific fields, but currently the product-specific fields appear first.

Is there a way to control the display order of option sets assigned to the same product? We haven’t found a priority, sort order, or display order setting in the editor or Assignment settings.

If this isn’t currently supported, could it be considered for a future update?

Thank you for adding WooCommerce variation attribute support in version 1.2.0!

We’ve installed the update on our staging site and successfully configured the conditional logic for our hoodie placement fields.

We’ve encountered one issue while preparing to test it.

Our WooCommerce products are currently in Draft status. When we try to assign an option set using Assignment → Specific products, those products don’t appear in the search results.

    We’ve confirmed that:

    • Published products can be found by both product name and SKU.
    • Draft products cannot be found by either product name or SKU.
    • We haven’t found an option to assign a product manually using its WooCommerce product ID.

We need to configure and test customization options before publishing products.

Is there a way to assign option sets to Draft products, or could support for Draft products be added to the product selector?

We’d prefer not to publish products simply to configure or test their customization options.

Thank you again for your responsiveness and for implementing the variation attribute functionality!

Thank you, Zavian. I’ll test it out and let you know.
