In reply to: Blog Can Not Be AccessedI went into the server side and saw that there was something dated 12-27-13 on the index.php file. I have not been able to do anything with this blog since maybe September/October so this confuses me. I opened the file and it had a bunch of code ending with this. I don’t know what this is:
?><?php

In reply to: Weird plugin codeIt came with the WordPress. I didn’t put a debug on the blog because I don’t know how to use it without potentially breaking something. I tried to visit the developer site but my MacTop blocked the site as dangerous. It’s this one:
WP-Debug
Deactivate | EditAllows WordPress debugging through the Krumo application. Visit the Krumo documentation for more information.

In reply to: Weird plugin codeI reactivated the debug plugin and deactivated everything else. I’m still getting this beneath the footer:

In reply to: Fixing HTML Errors ???I’ve thought about changing templates to something that is “responsive” at least I think that’s the right word for templates that morph for mobile devices. I’ll disable the plugins and see what happens. If that doesn’t help, I’ll change templates and leave the plugins disabled to see what happens.

In reply to: how do I add an existing wordpress blog to my account?Thank you! I’m going round and round in circles on wp.com and I can’t even find my original question any more. All I can get from the help pages is that the domain needs mapped but these are both self hosted blogs and I don’t even know how the tlcoffeywrites ended up there

In reply to: how do I add an existing wordpress blog to my account?I have. They aren’t responding. I checked everything and within the admin on wordpress.com and in Settings>Public Profile it shows both blogs. However, only tlcoffeywrites and a defunct blog are showing up on the “My Blogs” page. If no one here has any idea what to do, I’ll try to wait patiently for .com to respond.

In reply to: Site DisappearedI missed one. I deleted it and the site’s back. I don’t understand why I’m having problem with G+ plugins on this site. I installed one on another blog and it works fine. The same plugin crashed this site. ???

In reply to: Can't access Posts, Pages or Feedback sectionsI messaged my web host and told them what was happening. Five minutes later, they messaged me back and said they fixed it. I don’t know what happened or why but they fixed it and evidently, it was an easy fix. I can access everything and it’s even running the rotating tweets 🙂
The rotator disappeared again. One thing I’ve noticed is that when the widget is placed in the side bar, everything below it disappears too. I have this widget set up on another blog using the identical template and the other blog isn’t having the issue of a disappearing rotator.
I’ve deleted it and I’m going to try installing it directly through my Plesk control panel to see if that works.
It’s working now. I just went in and redid the Twitter codes again. I don’t know why it made any difference. It was the same codes that were there originally. The mysteries of the internet, I guess.
Maybe if I delete from the server then re-install it? Delete all the Twitter app things and redo it from scratch? I don’t know what’s going on. It was working yesterday then disappeared. Could it be a conflict with another widget or plugin?
