In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] GDPR and imported comments1. From what we see every GDPR compliant site must provide its users with buttons to download and delete their comments. Users who’s comments were imported by SNAP can use those same buttons to download/delete their comments as well. No additional actions from us are required.
2. Your Facebook/Twitter page description should make users aware that their comments will be imported to the site. This is also beyond the plugin’s ability.
What exactly that error says?
1. Our plugin posts to all configured social networks at the time post goes live. Technically speaking our plugin is hooked to the event of changing post status from whatever to “Published”. This event is triggered when you hit “Publish” button, when you post on your site from email, when you publish post from your iOS/Android Device, when external plugin correctly published new post, and when scheduled post becomes live.
2. You can uncheck all checkboxes in the accounts page and then use that button.
It should be out next week.

In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] PHP 7.1 errorThis has nothing to do with PHP 7.1. Your plugin files are got messed up somehow.
DL in nxs_snapClassDL stands for “Delicious”. Delicious was shut down by the new owners and it was removed from SNAP. You still have some old files that are trying to call for it.
SNAP is no longer forcing regular posts to be autoposted.
Please go to plugin Settings Page -> Filters and include “post” in the “Post types” section.

SNAP Premium API is not based on native Facebook API so it does not have any of its bugs, complications and limitations.
The whole point of SNAP API that it replaces the native Facebook API.No need to Facebook apps, not need for reviews.

Facebook resumed app review 10 days ago. They also asked all existing apps to be re-submitted until Aug 1st. They said review might take weeks or even months.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] GDPR and imported comments1. So what happens if someone use his user@facebook.com email for making a regular comment?
2. The whole “Importing comments” feature is a gray area by itself. You are not asking users for permission to take their comments made on Facebook and post them on your site. As you said most of them are not even away that their comments are appear on your site.
3. What exactly are you purposing us to do? Make a button that will allow user to delete his comments? Why should we do that? How is is button different from another button for regular users?

Our API for Google+ and Pinterest works the same way. It was released 6 years ago. Not a single ban.
Our Instagram API (Facebook owns Instagram) was released 2 years ago. No issues with bans.
We don’t see why Facebook will be any different. Do not use it for spam, do not flood, do not abuse the network, do not break any terms and conditions and it should be fine.Again, we are not pushing you and we are not promising anything. The only guaranteed way to proceed is to submit your app for review, get official approval from Facebook for posting permissions and use plugin the same way as before.
