You should see ONLY crons executed from WGET or Mozilla every one or two minutes. If you see nothing at all, calls from “WordPress/4.x.x” or calls made at irregular time intervals, your cron is not set correctly.

Is posting to facebook pages via SNAP using Native FB API now impossible without going through the process of having fb app reviewed and approved?
Yes, this is correct. Only reviewed and approved apps can post.
Please just follow our very detailed and illustrated with many screenshots step-by-step instructions. Once your app is approved it will be posting without any issues.

What API are you using (Native, Username/password, session)?
What kind of post are you tying to make(text, image or shared link).

@bibliata Have you tried to re-authorize the plugin? What kind of post are you tying to make(text, image or shared link). Are you posting to profile, page or group? Do you have an approved app?
