@danceadvantage – have you tried the latest version of Organize Series 2.1.7 with 2.9.1? Do you have any other plugins that modify permalinks or adjust the rewrite engine?
@dannoll – working on your problems that have been reported elsewhere.

In order to get Organize Series to work with the quick edit screen on the edit posts page I had to use some javascript – evidently I haven’t implemented it so it plays nicely with other plugins. Depends on which theme you are using and how that theme outputs it’s index page. If the theme uses the standard WordPress loop then you should be able to see the series meta information – but from the sounds of it it doesn’t. What’s the link to your index page and I can see what theme you are using…
Also, there is a function you can use to manually insert the series meta. I can’t remember what it is offhand but it will be in the series-template-tags.php file.
At this point it is not possible to classify posts under multiple series.

In reply to: [Plugin: Ozh’ Admin Drop Down Menu] Conflicts with Organize Series pluginI suspect this is a conflict between my implementation of javascript to enable Organize Series to integrate with the “Quick Post” stuff on the edit.php page AND javascript used by Ozh’s plugin. It took me A LONG time to figure out how to get Organize Series working with the “Quick Post” stuff (as I’m NOT a javascript pro) and there are VERY limited help sources for how to “plug into” that section.
If I ever find the time I’ll try and locate the source of the conflict but it’s not high on the priority list. Since Ozh’s plugin has been downloaded A LOT more than mine I highly doubt he’ll take a look at it from his end either lol (and he’ll probably have a few choice words to say about how I implemented my .js?)

In reply to: [Plugin: Organize Series] Won’t accept anything but part 1 of seriesI think this should be resolved as of Organize Series 2.1.7 – you’ll still see the “total posts in series” number be less than the actual number when adding a draft post to the series HOWEVER, when you publish the draft it’s part number should take okay and the other posts should resolve to their correct parts automatically as well.
