  • @moderator – I went thru all of the Open threads, followed the troubleshooting and judging by the hundreds of Open threads, I don’t think most people are going to try and search thru the open ones, especially since they’re 14 to 15 months old. I moderate several forums – and if you don’t want people posting to “resolved” threads, then lock them.

This one isn’t actually resolved – Niall entered the text from the plugin documentation page.

It’s a simple question and deserves an answer because none of the supposedly resolved threads actually explains why the plug-in works or doesn’t work. I looked at all the recent resolved threads – some are a week old & some go back to the previous version. For the oldest ones, there are recommendations to upgrade to v1.5.3 and no other explanation.

For the one that’s a week old, the plug-in is now working – which implies that there is a filter for the age of the most recent post – if exceeded, there’s no feed.

That’s all I would like to know – if you insist on another thread, I’ll just stop posting…. not a friendly place here.

    Niall,

I’m a bit puzzled by the Facebook Like Box and I reviewed the Facebook Like Box social plugin page.

Can you please determine whether there is a date range for “latest posts by the page”? My client has not posted recently and nothing is displayed in the like box for their widget. However, when I substitute my own page’s URL into the widget, my feed is displayed. It seems as if there’s a “freshness date range” for the feed.
