Yes its correct,
I tried the same thing but it didn’t work,
I checked the “hide products” and its disappeared from both side.

I had the same issue,
by changing the following option, problem solved.
Go to Left Column [ Woocommerce> settings> ]
Tab [Shipping] sub-tab {shipping options}
Control [ Shipping destination ]
choose one of these options
> Default to customer shipping address
> Default to customer billing address
