  • I’m seeing this too again … had trouble with this last spring after an update as well. For my part, I only saw the error for certain states .. in particular Alaska,
    California, District of Columbia, Missouri, Rhode Island and South Carolina. No clue why those states would trigger the bug.

    What I ended up doing, which seems to work as a work around is I took off my Free Shipping zone. Which seems fine because I don’t charge shipping on any product.

    I’ve found out that the free shipping option doesn’t work with the new shipping zones of On check-out I get a message saying “No shipping method has been selected. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”

    I’ve checked all settings in the back-end and all seems to be fine. I noticed though that in the free shipping zone there’s a setting called ‘Free Shipping Requires…’ in which you determine when the free shipping is made available. I reckon the issue might be that these parameters won’t let the check-out allow for free shipping unless they are fulfilled – and the only way to then allow the free shipping is if you allow free shipping at all times. Hope that makes sense. In other words; if you set the free shipping to only be available on orders over $102 then it won’t be available to sample products that are less than that.
    Please help me

    When I took off my Free Shipping zone it worked fine.

    i have already facing this problem as i add shiping california it give me no shipping method added why please shortout this

    I had the same issue,
    by changing the following option, problem solved.

    Go to Left Column [ Woocommerce> settings> ]
    Tab [Shipping] sub-tab {shipping options}
    Control [ Shipping destination ]
    choose one of these options
    > Default to customer shipping address
    > Default to customer billing address

    my problem was short out

    under shipping option add shipping class with zip code

    and under shipping class add shipping method

    I’ve facing the same issue, then i come to know that in the wordpress setting default shipping country was BarBados. And i was trying to select other country that by i was getting that Message. You can place order only for those country you selected for shipping.

    This problem for defining your shipping area when you will define shipping area there user will able to shop for selected shipping are. When user will try to shopping for outside of your shipping area he or she will see that massage
