In reply to: [BTCPay Server - Accept Bitcoin payments in WooCommerce] What is this V2 ?Hi @wpgurumagic,
yes this is a legit new version. Because of the longer plugin review and the missing documentation this was showing up without proper information. This has now been fixed and the official docs have been updated. The old plugin will work as is but does not get any new features anymore. With the new V2 plugin which is based on the new BTCPay Greenfield API we have much more possibilities and we will add plan new features like refunds.
There will also be an info about this deployed to the old version in the next couple of days.

Sorry for the confusion.

In reply to: [BTCPay Server - Accept Bitcoin payments in WooCommerce] BTCPay v2?hi @tehcook
yes you are right, it was not yet ready with the documentation but we now catched up with that and you can find the installation instructions for V2 on the official docs here https://docs.btcpayserver.org/WooCommerce/
The difference to the old plugin is that it was based on the BitPay API which has had its limits. The V2 is based on the new Greenfield API that allows a lot new features like refunds. Currently V2 is on feature parity with the old version but has a more modern architecture and also allows much easier separation of payment gateways, e.g. you can have separate gateways for BTC and LN and with some other 3rd party modules this allows you to e.g. give discount for LN payments.
We decided to do it in a new plugin as it is a complete rewrite and an automatic upgrade would break the plugin as the old plugin uses the BitPay based pairing while V2 used API keys with permissions.

In reply to: [BTCPay for WooCommerce (Legacy)] Fatal ErrorTo the error: it looks like the API call to create the invoice returns nothing, so the check for the returned data fails then. As if your umbrel node is not reachable or something.

In reply to: [BTCPay for WooCommerce (Legacy)] Fatal ErrorHi Jason,
how did you make your Umbrel node available? Do you run a reverse proxy or how did you connect your store to it?
To get more details on what goes wrong you can enable debugging in the payment gateways settings. After that you have a more detailed log in WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs
You can also come to https://chat.btcpayserver.org to discuss if you want.
Hey @wyohost thanks for reaching out, we forgot to update version compatibility but always test with the latest versions. Should be fixed now.

In reply to: [BTCPay for WooCommerce (Legacy)] Order status handlingHey @meanwood, as we solved this would be great if you could mark it as solved. Thank you.

In reply to: [BTCPay for WooCommerce (Legacy)] Order status handlingLike discussed on chat.btcpayserver.org it seems the default order status flow of WooCommerce is ensured when you set the mapping of the “complete” status to “blank” which means that no custom mapping happens and it will the above mentioned payment_complete() (https://woocommerce.wp-a2z.org/oik_api/wc_orderpayment_complete/) will set the correct state.
