btw the autocomplete only works if one has selected “Show all languages”from the top manu of the dashboard (chk Filtering the content on backend side – https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/user-personalization/) otherwise the autocomplete is not finding the translated pages/blogposts
cheers
ah, I found the solution 🙂
Filtering the content on backend side
Polylang adds a new menu in the admin bar which allows you to filter the content by language (posts, pages, media, categories, tags, comments, string translations). This choice is persistant (kept when you logout) and also impacts the default language when creating a new content. It has no influence on the language of the user admin interface, which can be chosen in the user profile.
please add it also here https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/navigations-menus/ so it is more clearly 🙂
thank you!
keep moving forward!
