I added the ‘type’ attribute as you suggested, but unfortunately the widget still doesn’t show up when I activate the plugin.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it!
If you could implement that, that would be awesome, though I’d be very happy if I could use them for custom taxonomies, so I can have one page for ‘Authors’, one page for ‘Actors’, etc.
Thanks!
Oh that’s awesome. Thanks so much. I’ll definitely download the plugin once the update’s been released.
Does this also mean I’ll be able to use it on multiple pages/for multiple taxonomies?
I disabled the plugin for now, because there’s a giveaway going on right now (and the widget disappears once I activate the plugin), but the link to my site is http://www.justhonest.net. The link to the widget code can be found here: http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/share-code/ZGZlNDA5NTZiZDRmZDU4N2JjMjhmM2RjZDZhY2MwOjA=/
Thanks for your help!
Sorry for the late response. I am using a different plugin now. But I’m using Windows hosting. I hope that helps. 🙂

In reply to: [WP Super Heatmap] [Plugin: WP Super Heatmap] Checkbox doesnt (un)checkI was wondering why my check boxes and radio buttons stopped working. When I disabled this plugin they started to work again.
Sorry, I meant custom taxonomies, not post types. Doh! That probably makes more sense, too.
I would love to be able to use this for (multiple) custom taxonomies, with the possibility to display the taxonomy of my choice on one page (and, if desired, display a different taxonomy on a different page).
I own a reviews website and I would love to be able to display a map of all authors in my Authors taxonomy, or a map of all actors in my Actors taxonomy, etcetera.
I hope that makes more sense! Sorry for the confusion!

In reply to: [WP Minify] [Plugin: WP Minify] Can't activate plugin – fatal errorWell, here’s an update. I installed WP Minify on a clean installation on the same server and I got the same fatal error, so it’s not a problem with other plugins I am using. I hope there’s a fix for this.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Minify] [Plugin: WP Minify] Can't activate plugin – fatal errorThanks for your response. Yes, I am using Windows hosting. It does seem like some other plugin is using the PEAR library as well. I have no idea where to look, though.

In reply to: [WP Google Fonts] [Plugin: WP Google Fonts] does nothing@adambeaumont1 – Does the plugin automatically add this line? Because it doesn’t in my installation. It’s empty. When I do add custom CSS it doesn’t do anything.
I’m getting the same message. The maintenance page doesn’t show up, no matter what theme I choose from the list. All I get is that 503 error.
And when I’m logged in on WordPress for iOS I get the same 503 message which means I can’t log in there.
I’m looking forward to seeing this functionality added. Thank you! 🙂
@amirhelzer I have tried that but sadly enough it didn’t fix the problem.
@mickyharris I’m glad to see you’ve found a solution!
Yes! I was about to post this when I saw this topic.
I’ve always loved this plugin and now that custom post types / taxonomies are becoming more and more popular it would be really nice if this plugin also worked for custom post types and/or taxonomies!
I’m having a similar—if not the same—problem.
When I use the slug ‘books’ in a custom post type I get a 404 page when I try to load a post in it. I think there may have been a different post type that used the same slug, but this post type has been deleted. I think (just guessing here) the problem is that the slug hasn’t been properly removed from the database, so WordPress thinks the slug already exists and doesn’t recognise it as the new post type’s slug (even after deleting my post type the post type is still listed in my database).
I also noticed that the taxonomy description, if left empty, uses the description of one of the post types. In my case, it uses the last one on the list.
