so talked to my boss and clarified things a bit and this is what I was told:
“Apps folder is created by the fact that you make Api connection with DropBox, any application that required API will be under Apps folder, one of them is WooCommerce
Any other that would also require it then be a subfolder in Apps”
and I believe it’s a sharing limitation within Dropbox’s API based on my research, and since we use WooCommerce Upload to easily sort out orders, the files get sent to the folder, and because of the limitation, we can’t access the folder unless we login into the team’s Dropbox account itself.
I’ll have to ask my boss to be sure but from what Ive told it’s that the core WooCommerce plugin created a folder inside Dropbox. unfortunately, we are unable to share said folder to other people—to the point that my boss just gave us the login details of the shop’s Dropbox account.
