I tried searching google for what PHP issue may be causing this, with no luck. Contacted my client’s hosting (Brinkster) as well, and they weren’t very helpful…
Even if there’s not any immediate ideas, any suggestions on where to keep looking for the problem?

Go to Settings >> Discussion, and uncheck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”.
