Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Installing wordpress on a existing website?Sorry for the late replies. Storm here. I have backed everything in publichtml in file manager and the database in phpadmin. When I extacted the zip file of publichtml, and just did a little search on “php”
This is what I get back when I search in the publichtml “php”. Does this help figure out if the website has php or not?
If I were to update the php, should I update to 5.6 or 7.x?

In reply to: Installing wordpress on a existing website?Yeah I’m not sure about the code, as I did not build this website ground up, I just took over it last week. Yes I do have a my installs it just takes me to a mokomarketplace where I can see WordPress installation and then it takes me back to the WordPress page where I enter the directory and it gives me the PHP error.
I might just update the code via HTML. I do have the choice to update my PHP via cpanel through bluehost but I do not want to the break the site and I have no clue where I would even start in the code about updating PHP.

In reply to: Installing wordpress on a existing website?Sorry for the late reply, I was asleep. This is what I see on the hosting site, I went under php config. http://prntscr.com/p3ve6r
What code do I update or check to see if it’s compatible with whatever PHP WordPress is asking for? Would just ticking PHP 5.6 be enough or would it break the site?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
