Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: main link to my wordpress site doesn't work?? Help.it sounds to me like a server problem… the connection is timing out (meaning there is no response from the host server, or there is a dns problem ie. have you changed the domain name settings recently?) I would consider changing your hosting provider if it keeps happening

In reply to: Increase Website Performance and Speedif you use a cdn (content delivery network) like cloudflare (which is free, search it on google) you can get a good performance bump.

In reply to: WordPress BeginnerI find when testing login features for wordpress, it helps if you have a couple of browsers ie. chrome, firefox, safari, opera.
each browser needs to be logged in individually. so you can do testing without having to log out all the time.I’m not sure exactly what your issue is though, if you log in with a user account you are logged in. if you log out you are logged out. you can test the “non registered user” features of you site by being logged out.
then test the “registered member” features by logging in with the user account you set up.
I hope this makes sense – good luck.

In reply to: "Your main domain is not currently pointing to your host"Maybe your domain hasn’t propagated yet… you can still install it on a temporary domain and then change it once the domain name has become active. you can change it in the general settings option in your admin control panel.
I’d also double check with your host that you are using the correct name servers for your hosting account.
