thank you both for the replies. the website guy i use finally responded and fixed the issue. it was the woo commerce update. i will be moving my hosting now as having no access wasnt fun.

so it seems Elementor is the plugin thats stopping front end changes on products orders. but when deactivated the website looks terrible. however this allows for the site to be reordered at the front end. any thoughts please?
