Thanks Adam, problem resolved. Btw, I had literally just sent a support request through the Jetpack site form around 20 minutes ago so please disregard that as things are working as expected again.

In the future, if I want to test out some of the features of Jetpack on my staging website what would be the best way to set that up? At WP Engine I often use the automated copy site feature to make a copy of the production site in a staging environment, so if I was to disconnect the Jetpack plugin in the staging environment would that cause problems for the production site? I’m assuming that I should disconnect and then reconnect so that it will register things under the ggnb.staging.wpengine.com domain?
