Also, along with the automatic sequential record number for each table entry (row number), I also want to generate a separate unique sequential alphanumeric ID for each member. Is there a function that does this in Tablepress, or do I need to write a script to add such an ID for each member entry?

Thanks for the reply. I have no caching plugin, nor is there a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in my Dashboard or admin bar. I do not see any way to clear a server-level cache. What might you suggest next? Would screenshots of my Dashboard and other settings help?
