In reply to: Enigma free theme – page scrolling up and down by itselfHello and thanks Andrzej, my site is being updated right now but how come your Enigma demo site doesn’t move up and down? All of the Blogs on your demo site are different lengths but I don’t see your demo page moving up and down?
It seems to only affect the bottom half of the page below the blog section.
What are the settings in the Blog section for your enigma demo page? Maybe it has something to do with that?My settings are:

Time Out:

Slide Item:
6My site will be back online by tomorrow… I am making some mod’s to it but the issue was there right out of the box before the mod’s I am making now.

In reply to: Enigma free theme – page scrolling up and down by itselfWell although the work-around I suggested does help, it does NOT solve the issue and it appears there is a theme or technical issue not yet addressed or resolved by Weblizar.
On their Enigma demo site, each post in the News Section on the Home page is drastically a different length but the page doesn’t scroll up and down by itself to adjust to each post length. My guess is it is a glitch of some kind possibly in the zip file but I tried 2 fresh downloads and installs with the Premium version and still have the issue.
I would love to continue using and promote this theme but not if there isn’t good “support” and issues with the theme…
I am still digging for answers and just using my work-around I mentioned above for now. NEVER give your Log-in to anybody unless you can identify them through name and association especially in another country…A support person should be able to ask the right questions and request copies of files, plugins, versions etc without accessing your site, that is an absolute last resort.

The Enigma theme which I also use, has a Post slider on the home page as you know. Here is my site using Enigma: http://www.mindvisionmedia.net/The issue is not technical per-say or with the theme but the length of each “post”! As the post slider cycles through the different post, each post is a different length, the page adjusts to the length of each post which makes the page appear to scroll up and down.
If you watch the posts slider you will see this happen as each post cycles through above the arrows.
The solution is to manipulate the length of your posts or post excerpts so they are relatively the same length. This includes your tags as well since they also take up space in the post slider.

Thanks but I am new and can’t get it to work. I added custom css to home page to ‘not” show footer and activated the colophon widget but it doesn’t show up. I think the code given to me turns the footer off completely. i just want to replace default footer with the colophon widget footer. Im trying to contact theme support but nothing yet..

In reply to: Anyone able to help with AdSense?Correct, the AdSense code must be contained within a Widget: Appearance/Widgets/Choose your sidebar widget /add basic “text” block to widget/ paste code inside and save/ refresh. Should be good to go.

It turns random words into text links to products like adware, it hijacks the users browsers to show these links on their pages and is very intrusive. I have tried everything.

WordPress is very powerfull but at the same time it is very vulnerable as i am learning. It is so popular with corporate 500 companies that we all assume it is safe and not vulnerable. i am learning thanks to peopole like you! Thanks again, 🙂
