The issue with slashes being removed has been fixed in 3.0.2. It was actually a hotfix, so if you downloaded 3.0.2 earlier in the day, the fix may have not been in place yet.

MikeThe newest one from the repository is more up to date than the original I told you to get from Github. Github matches what is currently available, though. I keep them up to date. I didn’t want to increment the version, so I just hotfixed the changes.

Looks like there was a typo in the code, haha. Wait about 5 minutes and re-install the plugin from the repository. Let me know if the image changes back to HTTP.

The proxy setting is only for if the server can never detect if the page is HTTPS. If HTTPS is Yes on HTTPS pages, you don’t have to worry about it.
That URL isn’t permanent or anything. Any images on the front-end will be referenced by HTTP on HTTP pages.

The plugin knows the blog is in a subdirectory, so it strips it off. That’s not a bug.
It’s possible that you’re going over a messed up proxy.

I use an HTML parser to fix content errors and so it parses the content of the WYSIWYG editor. I currently do not have a fix for this, but will implement one if I figure it out.

Overwrite your copy of WordPress HTTPS with this copy hosted on github. Let me know if you have any images on your public site that are still loading over HTTPS.

The path show in the Media Library isn’t important. The only reason it appears secure is because all the references to the current site are being filtered in the admin panel.
All of the images can still be used with their HTTP path. Just make sure that when you add images to pages that you make the paths HTTP. But, like I said, I can make the plugin do that if that’s all you’re asking for. That’s easy.

If Force SSL Admin is not enabled, you can still login over HTTP.
When you’re on an HTTPS page and debug mode is enabled, is SSL Yes or No?
