I haven’t posted in a few months and I’m having a terrible time. My post did not go to Facebook and I can’t figure out how to get it back. It used to automatically notify Facebook and Twitter when I posted. I can’t figure it out.

Okay, so I went back to my blog and started updating. WordPress updated okay, but then Jetpack updated and I got the same problem again.

I’m going to restore it again to the old version. So I guess the questions now are, do I really need to update Jetpack? Is it on my end, or is it something that someone will fix eventually if I just wait for the next version?

    This is very frustrating.

Thank you. I was not able to do that either, but I was able to restore my whole website, including the blog to the version from the day before I had the problem.

    Very frustrating.

    Thank you for your suggestions.

I had no idea I would need to be such a programmer to use this platform.

Anyway, I did try a “repair” with my host, while I was waiting for a response on how to increase memory.

Now my blog is not there at all and I’m getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_style_add_data() in /data/22/2/5/126/2005126/user/2193168/htdocs/BethDavid/blog/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 6656

Okay, alchymyth, I’ll try to figure that out.

I wish someone would make it default to no hyphens, or figure out a quick way to make it a preference in settings.

    Thanks,
    bd

I looked on the forums and could not find any help, so I Googled it and found a link that told me how to change it in the code. It was a royal pain, but it worked. My site is http://www.BethDavid.net/blog No need to get snippy. It didn’t occur to me to provide my site, because I thought it was a problem others were also having and would have a general fix-it. I didn’t quite think of it as a physical.

Everything is up to date on the site. I’m using: WordPress 3.9.1 running Twenty Twelve theme.
