the only info I could get is from an old forum on myplugins.org (which seems to be the only thing still working):

Basically, you have to put [slide] into your post, and it will display as slideshow all the photos you have previously uploaded in that specific post.
I have no clue however, how to customize the slideshow (type of transition, size, etc.). Any help would be appreciated…
