So, Timm, the workaround that I created was to:

1) In Edge Animate, publish my composition as a web page;

2) Upload the composition to my website via FTP (http://timmulholland.com/Parallax/Teardrop)

and,

3) In my WordPress editor, create my new page and insert an embed code to the composition that I want to include into my WordPress site – voila! 🙂

This is just a “test” for me as a way to explore my work, etc. You can view it here:

And, the password is “test”

I’m a photographer, not a JS expert, but this was a relatively straight-forward way for me to address this issue. I don’t know how well this might work for anyone else…
