In reply to: [Plugin] Second Homepage (page of Posts)?Ah, you just created work for me. 🙂
Okay, I’ll go through my theme and see if I can’t alter the way it displays posts within a category.
Any idea if there’s a way to give users an option between the old format and the new? I still like the idea of people being able to see a list of summaries of posts in a specific category.
Also, would modifying the way the category template displays posts affect Search Results (where Summaries are preferred)?

In reply to: [Plugin] Second Homepage (page of Posts)? Thanks Rich, but unless I’m missing something, that’s not quite it. I already use “categories” so people can find/read messages on a specific topic.
The problem with “Categories” is that, when you click on the Category name from the homepage, it simply produces a list of links that take you to each individual post (unlike the homepage, which shows multiple posts).
Unless there is a way to show the entire posts in full with comment links below them, linking to Categories… while close… won’t do.
Thx though.

In reply to: !!!Comment link Button!!!Where are you placing your code? At the bottom of each post?
Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed (or what’s causing it)? I only just realized after a week (since upgrading) that my Comment links are missing. 🙁

In reply to: HELP asap! Post via Email. Recognizing subject, but post empty.Problem found.
WordPress supports “plain text” email posts ONLY. No “stylized” HTML email allowed (this explains why the Subject line was coming through but not the message).
Webmail and Outlook default to HTML formatted mail. Don’t use them.

In reply to: Add buttons (quicktags) to “Write” panel? When you log in to your Control Panel to write a new post, If you DON’T use the “Visual Editor” like I prefer (unchecked “Use Visual Editor” in my profile), there are a series of buttons above the editor: (bold, italics, etc).
I want to add buttons for “non-breaking space” and “target”.
