In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] After submit not showingThanks MailPoet for answering my question. I can see the errors but cannot resolve them. Also disabling a number of plugins including the fancybox one that gave a jquery error didn’t resolve the issue. I can see in the source code jquery.min.js is called but I cannot find which of my many plugins does so. Is that what you meant with Google CDN loading jQuery? How can I make sure jQuery is not loaded via Google CDN but by wordpress by default? Thanks a lot for your help!

In reply to: [Simple Share Buttons Adder] Buttons on homepage postsI am working on my website again and although the code above suggested by Jeff1601 works in the sense that it shows the buttons, there is a weird problem with the share count of google+. Namely on the frontpage/archive pages etc which show multiple posts on one page the google+ share count is either “0” or “958”. It is always either of these two. On single pages the google share count works properly. Can you please help me solve this as I have no idea. Or perhaps you have a different code to show the buttons on posts on the frontpage and the code suggested by Jeff1601? Thanks a lo.

In reply to: [Simple Share Buttons Adder] Buttons on homepage postsI am desparately trying to get the ssba to work on my own location in the theme on the homepage but nothing works. Your suggestion above:
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[ssba url=”‘ . the_permalink() . ‘” title=”‘ . $post_title . ‘”]’); ?>
just prints the url and leaves the ssba the same.. I tried many other things but nothing works. Shouldn’t this be very easy? What would the code be if you would say create a separate shortcode for the homepage that links to the permalink of the post instead of the url of the whole page? I really hope you can help me with this.
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Share Buttons Adder] performance issueI am afraid I am also running into performance issues. ALl plugins on my website load on average in a hundreds of a second but Simple Share Buttons Adder takes 2 seconds (see report below). I have counters enabled and I would like to keep doing so. Is this the performance I can expect? Or is there something to be done. I will have to decide if I go for faster site loading and a different plugin or your plugin, which I think is fantastic (excluding this issue)!

In reply to: Help, archive displays frontpage!Thank you.
It had indeed to do with a plugin related to how search engines robots go through my site. I deleted the plug-in and the archives is back again. Great you helped me with this!
I hope you could shortly give your suggestion how to best make my webblog searchable and what plugins i should use or how I should make a robots.txt file.
Thanks again!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Help, archive displays frontpage!No, I am not forwarding anything. I installed wordpress on a webhosting space. I installed a redirection plug-in though, but deactivating it does not do anything.

Deleting the .htaccess file did not work nor did resetting the custom permalinks. I cannot find anything about this on the internet. I hope you have another suggestion. Thanks.
