  • Resolved MayChung

    So I got the code from for the widget on my website, and it works fine. I was wondering if there was a way of changing the size of the tweet font? I want it to be smaller (0.75em). I’ve tried this without any luck

    So I’ve got the code..

    <script src=""></script>
    new TWTR.Widget({
      version: 2,
      type: 'profile',
      rpp: 8,
      interval: 6000,
      width: 'auto',
      height: 300,
      theme: {
        shell: {
          background: '#ffffff',
          color: '#000000'
        tweets: {
          background: '#a8a8a8',
          color: '#ffffff',
          links: '#384f63'
      features: {
        scrollbar: true,
        loop: false,
        live: false,
        hashtags: true,
        timestamp: true,
        avatars: true,
        behavior: 'all'

    I just don’t have a clue how to change the style of the JavaScript from CSS. Any ideas?

  • #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-bd, #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-timeline i a, #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-bd p {
    color:#000000 !important;

    find that line in your CSS.

    Make it:

    #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-bd, #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-timeline i a, #twtr-widget-1 .twtr-bd p {
    color:#000000 !important;

    You absolute leg-end! Thank you!

    Awesome – anyone know how to change the color of the scroll bar if it is used? The default is the blue scrollbar but would love to get it in like a grey or some other color…

    Any ideas?

    Thanks that worked!

    I’m curious how you might modify the “twtr-hd” and “twtr-ft” styles as well. I tried to use them in the same CSS style to adjust their size, but with no luck. Anyone have any ideas what syntax I should be using?
